Message from the Pastor
It is such a blessing that we could encounter each other on this page. I believe that there is always a mysterious reason of God on every step of our journey, and our meeting on this page today will be one of them as such a person like me can never be known to you as I am neither a great nor popular as a pastor to public. The only thing that I can assure you is, I am saved because Christ died for me, and I am called by God to preach the Gospel to the whole world. I wish I can be a useful instrument both to God and to you being used for supporting your journey of faith by sharing the Word of God, praying without ceasing for each other, standing with you as a new family to you as we are all new families of God. I want to share one of my favorite Bible verses with you which will be my statement as a pastor at Umphress Road UMC and in public.
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me — the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace (Acts 20:24).”
It would be great honor if you can invite me as a friend that we can walk the journey of faith together at Umphress Road UMC.
God bless you all!
Pastor Ken
